Sephora nail polish and Smashbox make up

Smashbox luminizing lotion in Diffuse, $24

I finally got this luminescent lotion that I've been meaning to try for a long time. I bought it in diffuse color (there are two other colors) in order to use it as a highlight for costume wearing. However i found that it is subtle enough to be used for daily wear as well. You have to make sure you don't use too much or later in the day your face will look a bit oily, so i recommend using it on places like your cupid's bow, cheekbones, chin, inner eye corners and your brow bone only. The pump is kinda weird since its air tight, this was apparently to keep it fresh and lasting longer, as the lady at the counter told me.

To be honest, the bottle gives a bit more than anyone will ever need, since you only need a tiny bit since it is about viscous, i guess you get a lot for the price you pay? The pump will always give you more than you need according to other reviews but i found i haven't had that issue yet with the pump...

As for the actual shine itself, its hard to see on my iPhone camera for some odd reason, but its a subtle but definitely there shine that imitates a youthful glow...definitely will help you look more awake.

Which definitely helps for photos cause i always seem to be sleep deprived at conventions.

Sephora OPI Nail polish, $12
I also got this Sephora nail polish called "spark-tacular" (My roomie thought it was too "kira" sparkle for her but i thought it was fabulous ;_;) I picked it up initially because i though it looked like vomit skittles, however it wasn't called vomit skittles and i was sad...

However, i tried it and was pleasantly suprised at how..cute and bubbly the actual top coat was. It looked absolutely tacky in the bottle but once brushed out, it looked quite nice.
It shows well on dark and light colors as you can tell from this photo (pardon my non-manicured nails i've been busy lately) And it would work as a nail polish by itself as well. I like how there are big and small pieces mixed together and how eye catching it was without being too concentrated and obnoxious looking.
And of course the nail polish is already peeling because i had to wash a few dishes with my bare hands afterwards...

In conclusion, both are items i thought were useful and very nice to use, although the nail polish was on the expensive side...
